Cleansing is a step in your skincare routine that many people over look. A well cleansed skin means that every other step afterwards will work a lot better.
I always recommend everyone to cleanse twice at night, makeup or no makeup, the first cleanse is getting all the makeup/polution off the skin. Think of the front of your car after driving, there’s a lot of onslaught that comes our skins way! The second cleanse is actually cleaning the skin itself. Both cleanses should be around 20 – 60 secs. Get right into the hairline, eyebrows, out to the ears, on the lips and crease of the neck, don’t just spend the full time on cheeks and nose.
Once you have this routine of a consistent nightly cleanse you will notice in the morning you hardly need to cleanse at all! It’s more like a once over. Some people can get away with just using their toner. Your natural oils will be freed overnight. As time goes on you may even notice you need less serum and moisturiser as they are able to really get in the skin.
